OPERATING
Branch 08 members take an active interest in contests and have achieved good
results in the VK/ZL trans-Tasman contest over the last 3 years. The National
Field day contest is another favourite with members, and for many years Eastern
Southland has had an enthusiastic team competing. An operational HF amateur
radio station has also been established in the Pioneer Park Museum in Gore,
along with a display of vintage radio equipment.
